About Us

.....and a bit about me. I was born in 1953 in Lincoln. My father was based in RAF Swinderby at the time and his RAF career caused us to move about a lot in my first decade. In fact I went to about 8 primary schools, some for only a few months. Eventually we settled in London where I went to Kennington Boys School and then on to Norwood Technical College. In 1972 I started a teacher training course at Alsager College in Cheshire, qualifying as a Drama teacher in 1975, and in September of that year I started my first job as a Drama Teacher at Norton Priory School in Runcorn.

44 years, seven schools and a couple of degrees later I found myself teaching abroad, first in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where I was Head of English in the Boy’s International High of Kingdom Schools, and now in Azerbaijan where I am Senior Teacher in charge of IGCSE and IBDP at EAS.....’S a long way from Kennington Boys.....who’d-a-thought-it, eh!
